HOW TO USE

USAGE TIPS

EVERYDAY OIL IS TRULY ALL-PURPOSE SKINCARE

Carefully formulated for balance, we use organic and wild-harvested botanical oils that hydrate, cleanse, and nourish. With zero synthetic ingredients, Everyday Oil is truly holistic care for your skin. It absorbs quickly, cleanses gently and imparts a dewy glow. We recommend using it as an oil cleanser, natural makeup remover and moisturizer for your face, body and hair.

FACE : Everyday Oil balances with your skin’s natural oils to cleanse as it nourishes.

CLEANSE : Just add water! Rinse your face with warm water and while it is still damp, apply Everyday Oil and massage lightly into face and neck. For extra cleansing, makeup removal or exfoliation: use a clean damp washcloth. Apply more Everyday Oil for extra moisture as needed.

BODY : Everyday Oil can be used all over, anytime. It is a concentrated formula and works best with water. For the easiest application, use after a shower or a dip in the river, while your skin is still damp.

HAIR : As a treatment for dry ends and fly-aways, use a little on the ends of your hair where it gets drier, or mix a bit with your favorite styling product to add nourishing moisture.

SCALP : As a scalp mask, massage into your scalp and leave on for 20 min or overnight, then cleanse the hair.

INGREDIENTS

Organic Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is known for its ability to nourish dry skin. It has a very high concentration of natural ceramides, which actively hydrates skin, strengthening its moisture barrier and helping with trans-epidermal water loss. With help from linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid Omega-6, it strengthens and seals skin's barrier to keep moisture in and irritants out. All this has its benefits: preventing acne, reducing UV-induced hyper-pigmentation, and easing eczema flares.

Organic Olive Oil

The “liquid gold of the Mediterranean.” At its core are three major antioxidants — Vitamin E, polyphenols, and phytosterols — which when applied to skin can help improve the look of premature aging. It also contains a rare compound called hydroxytyrosol, along with hydrophilic phenols that have antioxidant properties higher than those of vitamin E.

SCIENTIFIC NAME : Olea Europaea

Organic Argan Oil

Argan Oil is known as the “Tree of Life” for its many benefits: from anti-aging to anti-inflammatory. Packed with nutrient-rich vitamins and fatty acids, this powerful plant oil is known to moisturize and soothe skin. Antioxidants COQ10 and melatonin help improve skin’s tone and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Containing 31% Linoleic Acid (Omega 6), which reinforces skin’s moisture barrier to keep water in and irritants out, it helps replenish low levels of linoleic acid in acne-prone skin to reduce acne’s appearance. Fat-soluble vitamins like tocopherol (Vitamin E) reduce the damage of free radicals to promote healthy skin and hair.

Organic Castor Oil

As one of the oldest cultivated crops in our history, castor oil has been used by nearly every ancient civilization — from health elixirs for the Greeks and Romans to the beauty secrets of Indian Ayurvedic medicine to wound dressings for the Egyptians. Praised for its healing abilities as "Palma Christi" or "Hand of Christ”, this plant oil can help cleanse the skin of dead skin cells, detoxify oils that clog glands, and pull out impurities from the pores. A natural humectant, castor oil reinforces skin’s natural barrier by drawing moisture to it while soothing rough and dry spots. Of its unsaturated fatty acids composition, 90% is ricinoleic acid, which is responsible for castor oil’s unique healing abilities. Its detoxifying properties are attributed to a rare compound called undecylenic acid.

Organic Coconut Oil

Coconut oil use dates back to at least 1500 BC, when it was incorporated in Ayurvedic medicine as a remedy for mind, body, and spirit. Equally cleansing and moisturizing, this plant oil is easily absorbed by the skin to reinforce it’s natural moisture barrier and elasticity. Fatty acids capric and caprylic triglycerides provide skin with hydration. Rich in antioxidants, coconut oil can also help improve the look of fine lines and age spots. Our coconut oil has had the long-chain fatty acids filtered out in a process called fractionation, so it can stay liquid and absorb more quickly and lightly into the skin. This is sometimes referred to as “MCT” Coconut Oil.
